India locked horns with the arch-rivals Pakistan in their first match of the Asia Cup 2022. The men in blue managed to register a win against the men in green during the high-voltage clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and asked Babar & co to bat first.

Although, there was something shocking for fans that they came to know at the time of the toss. Actually, the skipper and management decided to rest Rishabh Pant from the playing XI of this match and included senior wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik. It also became something interesting to talk about for fans when Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela was spotted in the stadium during the match.

Actually, Rishabh Pant shares a history with Urvashi Rautela. So, fans took no time to come up with their creative sense of humor on Twitter as the southpaw was not playing in the match amidst the presence of Rautela.

For the unversed, Rishabh Pant and Urvashi Rautela had social media war a few days back after an interview of the actress on Bollywood Hungama. She was there in the VIP box and the camera focused on her in the stands during the match. Speaking of the controversy, then it all started when Urvashi made a claim and indirectly talked about how Pant was desperate to meet her in the past and called her several time. It was the time when they both were reportedly dating each other.

Later on, Rishabh Pant came up with an Instagram story to give an indirect reply to the actress. He referred Urvashi as ‘behn’ in his cryptic Instagram story. Although, they both never took the direct name of each other in the controversy but still kept posting social media updates targeting each other.

It all became interesting in the match when the camera showed Rishabh Pant on screen just after the visuals of Urvashi.

Talking about the match, then the Indians won this encounter against Pakistan by five wickets and chased down the target of 148 runs in 19.4 overs with the batting heroics of Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya.
