And Hudson-Odoi’s agents have been given permission by Chelsea to negotiate him a move, according to Sky Sports.

In Europe both Borussia Dortmund, who have previously been linked with the England ace, and Juventus are claimed to have shown an interest in taking Hudson-Odoi on loan.

While in the Premier League Fabrizio Romano reports both Southampton and Leicester are keen on bringing Hudson-Odoi in on a temporary deal.

The Saints are believed to have enquired about a move, while discussions with the Foxes have been ongoing for days.

Elsewhere Newcastle were linked with a swoop last month after being told by Everton that Anthony Gordon is not for sale.

Hudson-Odoi is now expected to make a decision on his future in the next few days.

The winger was not part of the Chelsea squad for yesterday’s 1-0 win at Everton.

Hudson-Odoi travelled to Goodison Park with the team but did not make the bench for the match.

He spent much of last season on the sidelines with an Achilles injury.

Now he is back fit, but competition for places at Chelsea mean he would likely struggle for first-team minutes.

Raheem Sterling has added to a forward line this summer that already includes the likes of Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic, Armando Broja, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Mason Mount.

Hudson-Odoi has been used at wing-back by boss Thomas Tuchel but will not start over Reece James.

As a result the three-cap England international has asked to leave the club.
