Ex-Scotland rugby ace Kenny Logan battling prostate cancer after discovering it when wife Gabby urged him to get checked

EX-SCOTLAND rugby star Kenny Logan has revealed he recently underwent treatment for cancer.

The 50-year-old announced on BBC Breakfast that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February.

The former winger is married to TV presenter Gabby Logan, 49.

Bravely revealing his diagnosis today, he said: “This year on February 7th I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, which was a huge shock. So, I had to make some decisions.

He continued: “I ended up deciding to take it out. So I’m now three months since the operation, had the prostate out.

“And I’m probably 95 per cent back to normal, maybe 90 per cent back to normal.

“It’s hard when you’re told you’ve got cancer – and I’d literally fell over it, I didn’t see it coming, no symptoms whatsoever – I had to go looking for it.”
