CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Mar. was off 2.50 cents at $7.5275 a bushel; Mar. corn fell 2.75 cents at $6.5250 a bushel; Mar. oats lost 4.50 cents at $3.4075 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans rose 8.50 cents at 14.9525 a bushel.
Beef mixed and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Feb. live cattle was up .65 cent at $1.5785 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle was off .20 cent at $1.8327 a pound; Feb. lean hogs was fell .55 cent at $.8050 a pound.
