Styris Scott, a former player for New Zealand, made his remarks regarding Sachin Tendulkar when he inquired about India’s top prospect Shubman Gill and whether or not he can be characterized as a “complete player.”

He concurred that Gill is a skilled batter, but if he wants to progress further, he must emulate Tendulkar.

Styris Scott made his remarks in response to a question concerning Shubman Gill, a rising star from India, and whether or not he qualifies as a “complete player.” Styris Scott concurred that Gill is a skilled batsman who has made a solid start, but he must continue to grow and replicate Tendulkar if he is to reach greater heights.

“Consequently, I believe that you would never describe someone as young as Shubman Gill as a complete player. His strategy, in my opinion, still has flaws. He has all the necessary skills and the other component, but I believe there are flaws in his approach that the opponent will try to attack.”
