Man Utd ‘to sell Alex Telles over angry bust-up with Hannibal Mejbri’ with Erik ten Hag sealing Tyrell Malacia transfer
ALEX TELLES is reportedly set to be sold by Manchester United after his bust-up with starlet Hannibal Mejbri in May.
SunSport exclusively revealed that two Red Devils stars had to be pulled apart in shocking scenes following a training ground scrap at Carrington.
And the two players were then named as being left-back Telles and teenage midfielder Hannibal.
The heated altercation between the two men is understood to have happened in the days that followed the embarrassing 4-0 defeat away at Brighton on May 7.
Then-interim boss Ralf Rangnick was forced to call the session to a premature end with the United squad left stunned as tempers boiled over between the duo.
Despite their alleged bust-up, both men started in United’s final game of the season against Crystal Palace.
That outing could prove to be Telles’ last for United, with the club set to seal the signing of full-back Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord.
According to the Mirror, new gaffer Erik ten Hag has deemed the Brazilian as surplus to requirements and will be allowed to depart Old Trafford.
It has been said that Telles’ days are numbered at the Theatre of Dreams, with his bust-up with Hannibal claimed to be a reason why.
Telles featured in 21 Premier League games last games where he chipped in with four assists.
