The Red Devils travel to the City Ground for the first leg of the tie, with the aim of making it to their first final since the 2021 Europa League final defeat to Villarreal.

Rashford has been the star player as of late and keeping him fit and firing is crucial to the club’s aims for the remainder of the season.

And the England international is taking his post-match recovery seriously.

The 25-year-old shared his experience on Instagram with his 13.8million followers.

The picture shows him in the chamber with the temperature at a freezing cold -113C.

The picture was accompanied with the caption: “Recovery”.

And his fans were fascinated by it as one said: “Does that say -113C?! lmao.”

A second commented: “Bro is recharging.”

A third wrote: “bros in the elixir collector.”

A fourth added: “Be careful to cool down.”

Standing in the chamber for around three minutes, liquid nitrogen freezes Rashford to incredibly low temperatures.

Cryotherapy beats muscle soreness and reduces swelling, inflammation or sprains – allowing Rashford to be ready for the next match or training session sooner.

Former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo used to do the same in order to keep himself fit.
