Players who may not play in 2023 World Cup

India faced off against Bangladesh in a three-match ODI series and eventually lost the series 2-1, given that the third ODI played on December 10, Saturday, was won by the KL Rahul-led Indian team. To add more, it was Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli who top scored with 210 and 113 respectively.
However, while a few players enjoyed a joyous run in the series, there were a few stars who struggled to find their rhythm and contribute to team India. We decided to handpick five Indian players who might not be a part of the 2023 50-over World Cup team India squad on the back of their poor run.
Here are the three players who might feature in the 2023 50-over World Cup:
1) Axar Patel

Axar Patel is one of the trusted allrounders at the moment and the player is in the squad to fill in for Ravindra Jadeja, India’s seniormost allrounder, who was left out on the back of the injury that the player sustained during the Asia Cup 2022 played in September.
Although one has to agree that Patel has been doing well for India, when it comes to the ODI format, the left-handed batter’s contribution both with the bat and the ball remains a concern and it is highly likely that he might be dropped for the World Cup to be played in India in 2023.
