Speaking of the match, the Pakistani team posted a total of 147 runs for the loss of all wickets in the 19.5 overs. Mohammad Rizwan scored a knock of 43 runs off 42 balls with four boundaries. Other than him, middle-order batter Iftikhar Ahmed also played a crucial knock of 28 runs off 22 balls with two boundaries and a six.

Notably, it was the first time that both teams were facing each other after their last clash in the T20 World Cup 2021 when Pakistan defeated the Indians by a massive margin of 10 wickets.
