Sourav Ganguly Will Return To The Field For A Charity Match In The Legends League Cricket


The current president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and former captain of India, Sourav Ganguly, will take part in a special cricket match in the Legends League Cricket.
On Instagram, Ganguly announced that he would be participating in a very special match for Season 2 of the Legends League Cricket.

India will serve as the host country for the upcoming season, LLC recently announced. Thus, even though it would be a unique game for a social cause, Indian fans would be able to watch Sourav Ganguly play once again.

The former India captain uploaded pictures of himself working out in the gym with the caption.

“Enjoying the training to get ready to play for one-off charity fund raising game for azadi ka mahatsov. 75 years of Indian independence and also for women empowerment with the top legends of the legends league cricket @llct20 need to hit some cricket balls soon.”

Co-Founder and CEO of Legends League Cricket Raman Raheja remarked in a statement to the press.

“We thank legendary Sourav Ganguly for playing a match with other legends. Dada is a legend who will always be there for Cricket. And he will participate in a special social cause match, which will be a spectacular sight for our audience. We are hoping to see some classic dada shots.”

Ganguly has served as an inspiration to many aspiring cricketers who enjoyed watching him and went on to achieve great success in the game. Millions of fans adore his style and enthusiasm for cricket. It would be thrilling for fans to see him back on the field.

Ganguly made his Test debut against England in the summer of 1996, scoring a century at Lord’s. In his second Test, the left-handed batter scored a century.
