‘They have two guys’ – Haris Rauf draws light on the threat of Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya ahead of the match against India

India and Pakistan are all set to face each other once again in the Asia Cup 2022. Now both teams will lock horns in the super-four round of the tournament. Earlier, the Indians outplayed the Pakistani team in the match played during the Group Stage. Now both teams will be eyeing to start their campaign with a win in the super-four round of the tournament.

Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya was adjudged player of the match in the first match against Pakistan. He amazed everyone with his outstanding all-round performance both with the bat and the ball. Firstly, the 28-year-old scalped three wickets and then played a match-defining knock of 33 runs to get India to cross the line.

In the second match against Hong Kong, he was Suryakumar Yadav who stunned everyone with his 68-run knock into just 26 balls with six boundaries and six sixes to his name. Even, the fear of these two players can be seen clearly in the Pakistani camp as well.

Recently, the star Pakistani pacer Haris Rauf has talked about the importance of the wickets of Hardik and Suryakumar Yadav for Pakistan to win the match against India. He said that if we’d be eyeing to win the match then we have to get their wickets early.

“They have two guys Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya, who are doing extremely well in the tournament. If we want to get success then we’ll have to scalp their wickets as soon as possible. It is the only way in the match with which we can compel India to struggle for scoring the runs,” said Rauf in the statement.

Speaking of the performance of both teams in the tournament so far, then Pakistan has won one out of their two group matches. Whereas, India won both matches against Pakistan and Hong Kong in the group stage. Now, the men in green will be eyeing to clear their account with the Indians for the defeat in the last match t the group stage.
