Top five ODIs from 2022

Cricket is one of those games where players give it their all and still fail to sail through, making it the toughest game of all time. We decided to handpick the top five ODIs from the current year out of the many, including that of Sri Lanka’s win, where the margin of victory was very low. However, while many claim that the One-Day format is slowly dying, there were a few games in 2022 that proved that the format will never die in the near future.
With the sporting evolving over time and fans preferring T20Is over the ODIs and England winning the 20-20 World Cup 2022, players, on the other hand, are moulding themselves to stand in line with requirements.
As things stand, let us take a look at the top 5 ODIS from 2022:
1) Sri Lanka vs Australia – 4th ODI, 21 June 2022

It was a record-breaking hosting series for Sri Lanka as they unbelievably pulled off a win against the mighty Australians 3-2. However, the fourth ODI between the two teams played at Colombo became the pinnacle of the series, with the Island Nation eventually winning the match by just 4 runs and clinching the series.
To add more, Sri Lanka put on 258 runs on the board after batting first on the back of Charith Asalanka’s 110. However, in reply, despite David Warner scoring a great-hearted 99, the Australians lost the match by 4 runs and lost the series as well.
