DC will make his long-awaited WWE debut by refereeing a Fight Pit Match between Seth Rollins and former MMA ace Matt Riddle.

MMA reporter Ariel Helwani tweeted: “Daniel Cormier will serve as guest referee for next Saturday’s Fight Pit Match between Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins at WWE’s Extreme Rules in Philly. Oct. 8.

“No, seriously. It’s really happening. Oct. 8. Incredible.”

Cormier took to Instagram to confirm the news by describing himself as the “law” while also stating he is planning to be absolutely “impartial” in this new type of match.

The stipulations dictate that the ring will be transformed into something like the Octagon as the ropes will be removed and replaced with a steel cage along with a catwalk.

The former UFC Heavyweight Champion teased that he could throw some moves of his own as he warned the two competitors not to get in his face during the bout.

Cormier posted: “I will be fair. I’ll be honest. I’ll be impartial. And I will not take anyone’s s***. I will be there for a reason.

“The law has been called in, and I will enforce it with every part of myself to the fullest extent.”

Cormier enjoyed a stunning 13-year career in MMA with an impressive record of 22 wins in 26 fights, of which he only lost three across all promotions.

The UFC Hall of Famer recently switched the Octagon for the commentary booth where he called fights alongside Jon Anik and Joe Rogan.
