UFC president Dana White said he has “nothing but respect” for retired WWE supremo Vince McMahon, despite the recent hush money scandal.

McMahon, 76, marked the end of an era when he rolled credits on a 40-year career that saw him run the pro wrestling giants as Chairman, CEO and Head of Creative.

The American businessman stepped down after accusations of sexual misconduct and reports he allegedly paid several women millions in hush money between 2006 and 2022.

But White insists he still has respect for the 76-year-old, whom he described as a “killer”.

The UFC supremo and McMahon have a long history, which also saw them involved in former US president Donald Trump’s sports advisory group during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

White said during a press conference: “I got stories about Vince for days.

“What that guy built and what he’s done is incredible. He’s been doing it for 50+ years.

“I watched that stuff as a kid and then [for him] to still be here and doing it now is phenomenal.

“He’s a killer. He’s buried the hatchet in my back a few times, but that’s what you’re dealing with.

“You don’t deal with a killer and not expect them to try to kill you. Yeah, I have nothing but respect for Vince.”
