That storyline turned him into a crowd favourite and led to an angle with Javier Bernal.

The two rivals faced off in the ring, in what marked Walker’s NXT debut.

The security guard picked up the shock win thanks to a corner splash and a flying shoulder tackle.

The American then walked backstage where he celebrated with the rest of the security team.

That is when he was approached by two-time WWE Hall of Famer and Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels.

That is when Michaels offered him an official WWE contract to join the roster.

The four-time world champion said: “Congratulations, big win.

“I’d like to take the time to offer you an official NXT contract. Of course, sign it whenever you want.”

Just as Walker was ready to sign, he was cut off by his fallen opponent who suggested he wants a rematch after his “fluke” loss.

Bernal said: “You know what, Hank? Tonight was a fluke, alright? Consider yourself lucky.”

Everyone then broke into laughter after Michaels quipped: “What a p***k!”

That is when Walker put pen to paper and officially became an NXT superstar.
